This release adds a card widget to enable creation of nicer landing and information pages in Phonemos and significantly extends the way users can customise their topics and make the content more semantic.

New Features ✨

Card Widget

  • Add nice looking coloured cards with images, title and text to make your landing pages look nicer.

  • Link to objects or external URLs. The card is hidden if the user is not allowed to see the target page.

  • Select from free-to-use stock images or upload your own images

  • Example look:

 

Object Facets

  • Objects can now have facets that allow for better organisation and more semantic pages

  • Facets are also available in Page Info and Metadata Field widgets

  • Metadata field widgets without a selection are automatically dropped on save

  • Define available facets in the topic administration

  • Facets defined in templates are also applied to pages created from that template

Define what a wikipage represents semantically, you can define the available kinds as data domain and select the available ones on the topic.

Now you have the fields that are relevant to the specific type of object.

 

This now allows elegant and specific display of all instances of an object type.

The facets are fully available as metadata fields as well, so you can you all the flexibility of Phonemos with this new field as well.

 

Object References as Data Values

  • New single-object data field type to reference other objects as field values

  • Query builder supports filtering with "matches" on object and user fields (allowing for nested queries)

  • Synthetic metadata for parent and parent topic

  • Improved field selection and appearance in the query builder

Configurable Create Menu

  • The create menu can be customised per topic

  • You can add templates, all types of object and group them into submenus

  • Allows specifying the parent object for newly created items

 

 

Improvements ⚡

User Experience

  • Better feedback when a page cannot be saved (shows the reason)

  • Replaced the in-app Continually chat widget with a direct link to the Phonemos documentation for better data privacy

Import

  • Confluence import: images with external sources are now dropped (external images are not supported in Phonemos)

  • More robust due date conversion during import

Fixes 🛠

  • Data migration to repair malformed wikipage content: empty document content arrays, invalid media references, dates, mentions, recordTable and metadataObjectList sources, and invalid objectLink nodes

  • Downloading more than 10 files at once did not work in Chrome. They are zipped now.
