Managing permissions in Phonemos

Phonemos gives you fine-grained control over who can view or edit your content – whether it's a single page, a zone, a Phonemos topic, or an entire instance.

Permission Levels

Permissions can be managed on four levels:

  1. Page-Level Permissions
    Set who can view, edit, or comment on an individual page (also depends on which Phonemos Subscription: Team or Business)

  2. Zone-Level Permissions
    Define who can view or edit the content within your zone

  3. Topic-Based Permissions
    Define who can view, edit or administer the content within your Phonemos topic

  4. Site-Based Permissions
    Define who can view the content within your Phonemos site and who can administer the site and it’s users.
