Phonemos User Guide

Quick start tips & Video Tutorials

What is Phonemos:

Phonemos is a flexible and powerful wiki tool for teams, organizations, and companies, fully developed in Switzerland. It helps you centrally document knowledge, structure it clearly, and share it efficiently with your team.

With Phonemos, you can:

  • Create content quickly, structure it via a freely customizable menu, and easily find it again using the AI-powered search

  • Enrich pages with metadata and automatically generate filterable tables

  • Manage multiple instances with their own URLs and permissions

  • Manage and secure access for free via Single Sign-On (SSO)

  • Easily import or export content – with no vendor lock-in

  • Translate content directly within the app (via DeepL)

Logging in

To use Phonemos, you must first log in to your personal instance. The login page will appear as soon as you enter your personal Phonemos instance URL (e.g. https://wiki.companyname.cloud/) into your browser. The login works in all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari.
There are two login options:

  1. Login with Email & Password
Enter your email address and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can request a new one using the “Reset password” link.

  2. SSO Login (if enabled)
If your instance is set up with Single Sign-On (SSO), you will automatically be redirected to your company’s login page – no separate password required.

ℹ️ If you don’t have access yet, please contact the responsible person in your team. For login issues, reach out to the linkyard support team at support@linkyard.ch or create a ticket through this link: https://jira.linkyard.ch/servicedesk/customer/portal/6

First steps

By clicking the “Create” button, you can create a new Phonemos element – for example, a “Phonemos Page.”
The text editor in Phonemos works similarly to well-known text editors like Microsoft Word.
Additionally, you can use the “plus” icon in the upper middle-right area to insert various features that make editing easier.
